Vapor

"something unsubstantial or transitory"

At C/C Bible Study tonight we studied James 4:13-17. Uncle Don did a great job breaking it down and giving us things to think about . . .

- If we are just a vapor, we need to do God's work today - we aren't promised tomorrow

- We can't afford to have our plans not include God - He controls how long our vapor lasts

- We need to verbalize our faith - give God the credit He deserves

- If we ask God for guidance, believing He will provide, He will give it

- It is a sin for a Christian to act self-sufficient

- The more mature we are as Christians, the more dependent we are on God

Thanks for the notes, No. 2. I really appreciated what Nate had to say too:

Haha. Sorry I just saw Brendon's picture as I entered this page. funny. Anyway, definitely thanks for the notes. I really enjoyed the lesson he delivered last night. Don always seems so clear and precise in his lessons. Like, he always speaks of things that are 100% applicable and makes it easy for everyone to comprehend. I kind of think of Pastor Hann when I listen to Don. I mean to say he's just very organized with his points and it all runs very smoothly together. =) Okay well thanks again numero 2!
