We've set a record

I know it's bad, but No.3 and I have been to FOUR movies in the past week (not including The Dark Knight, sadly :-( ). It's not even that we wanted to go to the movies, it's just that all the movies we've been wanting to see happened to be in the $2 theater ( which is actually $3) and our family just happened to get discounted tickets for WALL-E. This is just a quick movie review in the order that we saw them.

(Okay, I just tried for half an hour to put pictures of these movies up, but blogger wouldn't let me :-( )

The Incredible Hulk
No. 3 and I really liked this one for some reason.

WALL-E
One of the most boring movies I have ever seen (okay, maybe it didn't help that I was STARVING and it was two hours long). If you heard that this movie has no dialogue, you were rightly informed.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
I didn't think that it was that bad of a story, but what was wrong with C. S. Lewis's version? If they're already making up a whole new story for the movie anyway, couldn't they make it shorter?

Iron Man
By far my favorite movie from the week. Possibly my favorite super-hero movie.

Aside from going to see 4 movies, No. 3 and I were productive, we got :lots of piano practiced, lots of flute practiced, lots of dinner cooked, and lots of cleaning done, so it wasn't a lazy week and we only spent $15 each.

I tried to go see Dark Knight last night, but the theater was too crowded. I'm guessing there was still room to watch Wall-E, though . . .

I'm sure there were PLENTY of empty seats for Wall-E.

The best thing I can say about Wall-E is that thanks to him I've learned the Arabic word for "boring."

Can you teach me the Arabic word for "lol"?

The next time you are IM-ing or texting in Arabic let me know and I'll tell you.

I loved Ironman. Such amazing detail... lots of really good action. =) It's a toss up between him and Mr. Joker.
